Add Visitor Entries (iOS)

Objective

To add Visitor entries from an iOS mobile device.

Things to Consider

• Required User Permissions:
  • To create entries:
    • 'Standard' or 'Admin' level permissions on the project's Daily Log tool.
  • To create pending entries as a collaborator:
    • 'Read Only' or 'Standard' level permissions to the Daily Log tool with the 'Collaborator Entry Only' granular permission enabled on your permission template. See Create Daily Log Entries as a Collaborator.
• Additional Information:
  • You can create custom fields for the Visitors log on the project's Daily Log tool. See Create New Custom Fields.
  • If you are a collaborator for a project-specific conditions apply. See Create Daily Log Entries as a Collaborator. 
  • You can configure what items are created with the quick create  icon, see Configure Quick Create Settings.

Steps

1. Open the Procore app on an iOS mobile device and select a project.
   Note: This loads the Tools screen for the project.
2. Tap the date you want to create a new entry for.
3. Tap the quick create  icon and select Visitor Entry.
   OR
   Tap the Daily Log tool and tap Visitors. Then tap the create  icon. 
4. Tap into the following fields to enter information:
   • Visitor: Enter the visitor's name.
     Note: If you enter the name of a visitor that does not exist in the project’s Directory tool, you can still add the name to the entry by tapping the Use Search Text... link.
5. Tap Create.
